The modern civil rights movement in Alabama burst into public consciousness with a single act of civil disobedience by Rosa Parks in Montgomery in 1955.

Unfortunately many of the new generation do not know the struggle of their forefathers who fought and died for our basic rights. In memory of the defunct Martin Luther King, and other civil rights leaders such as Malcolm X, Gandhi, and other great freedom fighters, we are dedicating the Shah Peerally Law Show to a special Know Your Rights Monday January 16, 2012 session.

We will discuss about the basic rights of immigrants and what being free means to you. Callers will also be able to call for both immigration and debt settlement questions.
