In the movie the “Day After Tomorrow” the Earth is faced with a new global ice age and millions perished in Northern America. Ultimately the entire country was almost inhabitable and people rushed in as refugees to Mexico and South America.  In the beginning, Mexico closed their borders but ultimately they humanly re-opened it.

Today we have the same situation in Syria on a man made conflict and disaster where the world had to step up to take refugees. While the Obama administration wants to help, many States which are so-called conservatives or we should say anti-immigration, have now decided that they will not accept new Syrian immigrants (24 States Governors refusing to accept Syrian refugees) because of the Paris tragedy.  It makes you wonder where is our humanity? Have we lost it?  The same groups which are asking to ban Syrian refugees are the ones who called themselves “People of God”!

The irony is that the same people who are asking to be refugees are the one running away from the awe of the terrorists. Moreover, facts have shown  that most of those who allegedly committed the Paris attack are home grown.  More and more I listen to some politicians, I get the impression that we are now in Germany before World War II.

Bobby Jindal who is another irony, someone whose ancestry are immigrants, is the one who proposed the rule. It seems he fits the profile what  Malcolm X has described: “The House negro and the Field negro”! We now all know now which one Bobby Jindal is.

Let us say now that US is faced with the situation of the “Day After Tomorrow” and where all our weapons and technology are gone so that the US can no longer bomb it way into Mexico or any other country and begging to be taken as refugees, how would we feel?

The truth is that no matter what religion you are, what faith you are and whether you believe in the afterlife, karma or anything alike, anything someone does wrong, it always comes back to them.

Terrorists are bad and they will pay but being worse than terrorists by punishing the innocents for the guilty is not only against the American values but human values.

When you are refusing refuge to Syrian try to watch the movie the Day after Tomorrow and think that this can happen to all of us!
