San Jose, the city at the heart of the Silicon Valley is usually known for Tech advances and a relatively peaceful place. The right-wing media is portraying the San Jose protest as an attack on Trump supporters. The question is who is supporting Trump? For one we know the Ku Klux Clan and for two we know the NRA which can easily make us conclude that a number of the supporters seem to be xenophobic, violent or racist. Trump clearly attacks people on their race as if people can change the color of their skin. Just for your Trump’s information, we are born with the color of our skin. It is actually very hard to change this. Personally I would have loved to be born in another skin and get all the advantages which come with it but unfortunately God or mother nature thought otherwise.

When the supporters of Trump show up, they clearly show their ‘hate’ for other communities and made clear they want them out mainly because their skin color, their country of origin or because of their religion. Trump supporters believe to make America great they have to ‘purge’ it from immigrants, muslims and other individuals they hate. As one of the people who will be the victim of Trump’s hate, I do not understand how Trump supporters want to be accepted for such a pitiful ideology? They should think twice before coming to the Bay Area where minorities and liberals have always fought against racism. Trying to sell racist ideologies and not expect “resistance” is insane. Yes I call it ‘resistance’!

While violence is not the solution and should not be condoned, Trump and his supporters trying to play the victims are problematical concepts. In places where there is a majority of the xenophobic Trump supporters, they thrive by actually “punching” and insulting regular people. Imagine if the Nazi want to actually rally in your backyard and you are a jew. Then they come again and punch one of the members of the jewish community, how would you feel?

Trump wants to deport Mexicans from the United States. In his mind all Mexicans are illegals. He hates them and this is exemplified by how he is treating the judge who is presiding over the Trump University case. For those don’t know, the judge is of Mexican descent but is an American born citizen. Trump and his supporters are also championing into banning Muslims from the United States, as if the United States is a one religion country! The irony  is that Trump’s supporters are stating that they are peaceful. May be a peaceful hate?

Analyzing all those facts, Trump’s supporters hate for immigrants, muslims, and other non-racist communities, it is hard for good people to expect many minorities to actually like Trump or his supporters. Feeling trapped by a country full of hate, we can only conclude that the good people targeted by Trump have no choice than to be angry and prepare to defend themselves. They have good reasons to be angry. It will no longer be safe for them despite being citizens. In such  situations, protesting against a Trump presidency is not only their rights but their duty. When a totalitarian group or racist group tries to take over a country especially the USA, the founding fathers have called on people to resist. Resistance is the only way people will actually be able to stop Trump. However, resistance does not have to be violent. A Gandhi style resistance will actually be more effective.

As such we call on the resistance to stay calm and avoid violence, because the right-wing and Trump are exploiting this to actually hurt more of them and ultimately win the presidency.

We hope we will not see more violence in the coming weeks. To all those who are fighting for their rights, we wish them best of luck and remember you can still fight for your rights but peacefully!
