State Department stop issuing visas around the world due to a computer hardware problem.
The State Department has indicated that they are presently unable to issue any visa due a hardware problem. The issue is affecting the system globally and as such the inability to issue any visa.
“The Bureau of Consular affairs is facing some technical problems with the visa systems. This is a global issue, and we’re working around the clock to fix it,” state department spokesman John Kirby told reporters on Wednesday.
Until further notice we have to assume that no visa will be issued at any US Consulate at any place around the world.
We will keep you posted as soon as we get new information.
