The situation is still unclear for many students, however, from the feedback we are getting from many of the students, it seems that the cases are being decided individually and on a case by case basis. There are few students that have actually obtained an I-20, others are just waiting. Although you receive an a form I-20, it does not guarantee that a reinstatement is going to be approved. Manny students have been told by their respective schools, that they are not willing to file the reinstatement for them. They have been advised to either use an attorney or do it on their own. It is always recommended to use a lawyer to prepare your immigration cases. However, we understand that there is a financial implication on the matter. Our law firm has already filed many of such reinstatements. You can reach us on 510 742 5887 or email us on [email protected], should you want assistance on the matter.
