Lately, I have been to few immigration interviews on asylum cases, and employment based immigration cases and both had one NEGATIVE thing in common.  All the clientsl hired non lawyers or “immigration consultants” to handle their cases.  Not only were the clients wrongly served, they were also victim of a breed of  pretenders who were committing a crime under California laws.

In one of the cases the “immigration consultant”, which based on California laws was operating illegally, was under investigation.  As such all the cases he had handled ended up in an investigation.  Unfortunately even clients with genuine cases were ultimately penalized in the process.

The simple rule is to hire only licensed attorneys who are eligible to practice law to handle your case.   If you cannot afford an attorney, please handle the case yourself.  You can call us on 510 742 5887 or visit us on www.peerallylaw.com for more details.
