Dozens of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents raided offices at the University of Northern Virginia’s Annandale campus Thursday, jeopardizing the legal status of hundreds of foreign students. Unlike, Tri Valley University, the University of Northern Virginia will remain open, however, according to a statement released by ICE spokeswoman Cori W. Basset, the University of Northern Virginia no longer retains the right or ability to admit foreign students pending its investigation.

As of yet no charges have been filed nor people arrested but the school is being investigated to see whether it conforms to federal regulations for the administration of student visas. If found guilty of violating any laws or mishandling any student Visas, the university could potentially face severe consequences.
