In another move by Federal authorities to crack down on fraudulent schools, the CEO of Herguan University located in Sunnyvale California has been indicted today on federal charges. Jerry Wang, 32, was arrested Thursday at his home in Santa Clara and charged in a 15 count-indictment, with maximum penalties totaling 23 years in prison and over $1 million in fines. It seems that this time unlike Tri Valley University (TVU), students will be maintaining status until the school closes down.
