President Obama Crying

This week’s events at Sandy Hook Elementary is so tragic that we cannot ignore them.  Our law firm offers all its sympathy to all those who suffered from this tragedy or we should say this ‘could have been avoided’ tragedy.  In our opinion, this tragedy might have been avoided  had we had stricter gun laws, less power to special interests, less a culture of violence and more protection in our schools.  Also it makes us wonder how wars and killing of children in various parts of the world make parents and innocents feel.  When humanity is in distress we need  to all stand as one to say no to violence and no to those who preach hate and violence.

For too long, the United States has been kept hostage of strong lobbyists which place their interests before the interest of the United States, its people and the interest of humanity at large.  The Iraq war, Afghanistan war, trouble in the Middle East, September 11, 2001, Drone attacks on innocents are all examples of violence which could have been prevented had special interests not been placed before humanity.    Is it not time for our politicians and our people to realize that both the declaration of independence and the U.S. Constitution confer the power to the people – not to special interests or strong lobbyists?

All the people are now calling for stronger gun laws and more power to the people. However, we need to also address the culture of violence and hate including a war preaching media and politicians who support such views.  Indeed, the problem is far bigger than just stricter gun laws.  It is a philosophical problem including hate, violence, fear and ignorance.  Fortunately things are changing at a fast pace and 2013 might actually see an age of culmination – maybe the Mayan calendar was right on the new age of enlightenment or will we sink into the doom of hate?  The answer is actually in our hands.

If things go in the right directions,  it seems that we are going to see a new era in American  and world politics where the people are taking back the country from war-mongers, violence,  lobbyists, bad politicians and other special interests.  We need to support rules and endeavors which benefit  humanity at large.  Remember we are all humans irrespective  our religion, race or creed.  Furthermore respect for our environment and other creatures are also imperative in this equation.  Unless we see things in bigger perspective, we will ultimately see the end of civilization as we know it.  The coming years will be decisive.  The power should be to the people and the people ultimately want to live in peace.  Let us all work together to make a better world for our children.  Sandy Hook Elementary tragedy, despite being one of the most horrible events in American history, can actually be a catalyst to change.  Our hearts grief for those who died and the heroic teachers who defended their students. May God bless their souls.  Let their death not be in vain. Let  their memory prevent future tragedies.

Again we offer all our condolences to the families of those who perished in this horrific tragedy! Good Bless them, God Bless America and God Bless the world!

It is time of great reflection!
