The despicable attack in Paris which happened on November 13 2015 is definitely going to have a huge impact on global migration. Lately Europe has been flooded with immigrants mainly those who are fleeing from wars in Syria, Yemen and other countries with conflicts. France had its fair share of asylum seekers and was also ready to take thousands of more refugees until this incident happened. Now we can expect that France will not only refuse refugees but will crack down many new and existing immigrants.

Whenever there is such a calamity, governments tend to over-reach and people tend to abuse such situations to attack immigrants and immigrants’ rights. At this point, more likely than not, we figure that this will happen in France and Europe but it will also be happening right here in the United States. As such on the pretext of national security, we can expect that most western governments will at least do extensive background checks on every single immigrant case. Worse  there will probably be a “witch-hunt” that will target immigrants on a random basis.

Many who have actually been waiting for an opportunity to close the borders will actually call on the US government to do so. Others will just go on an avenge spree where many innocents will pay for the guilty.   It is our duty as a civilized society to ask that only justice should be undertaken not revenge on innocents like thereof we have seen after any such attacks.  While we condemn those who have perpetrated the atrocities, we also do not ignore the aftermath of such events on the immigrant especially the Muslim  populations.

We ask all the people to keep their calm and for if you are approached by the any government officials, please know your rights, and act accordingly.
